Brand identity and marketing collateral created for Mama Do Fried Ice Cream, a new ice cream shop in Brisbane. Deliverables included the logo and identity system, market stall assets (gazebo and feather flags), custom ice cream cup packaging, menu posters, signages, and social media assets for the grand opening, festivals, and private events.

Colour Psychology & Branding Rationale

Yellow & Orange: Selected as two of the most appetising colours, commonly associated with fried foods and used to stimulate appetite.

Yellow (Primary Colour): A colour widely used in both past and present children’s shows and character design, making the brand feel fun, familiar, and instantly appealing to kids. For adults, it evokes nostalgia while also referencing the brand’s founding origins in Brisbane, the “Sunshine State,” symbolising warmth, joy, and positive energy.

Pink (Secondary Colour): Applied to mama to convey warmth, comfort, and dessert-like sweetness.

Overall: The palette delivers a playful, appetising identity that attracts children, resonates with families, and creates a warm, nostalgic connection for adults.
